And what better way to start the new year than with our first challenge of 2012 where we would like to see projects on the theme of................
Monochromatic
Totally your choice what colours you work with so long as your card is all in shades of the same colourway (you can of course use white cardstock).............to avoid any uncertainities as I know this one often creates a few queries, this is what the tinternet has to say........."Monochromatic describes paintings, drawings, design, or photographs in one color or shades of one color".
As always, we have a fabulous prize on offer from Sir Stampalot.....................yep, it's a suprise package.........I will reveal the content is a few days time !!!!!!
Just a gentle reminder to ask you to check out our rules at the top of this blog before you link up your card..........we are still seeing quite a few entries that have been combined with more than five other challenges and I so hate having to tell peeps that their lovely work is ineligible.

Great challenge! It is also very good for a newbie like me I think! I tried two times before I made this card - the first card wasn't really monochrome, the second is unfinished but I really wanted to use a colored tag in it, and then my order of new stamps and punches arrived! I enjoyed making this card. Thank you for the inspiration :)

Great challenge and DT work. I love looking at monochromatic cards, but find them very hard to do my self. Am quite pleased with how my card turned out, but wish I could have captured the warm colours better. Oh well, there's always next time...
