It's the last of our 'meet the team' and this month Francesca is in the spotlight and below you'll find another inspirational card from her along with a little bit about her. Next month we will be introducing a totally new spin and setting the DT a few questions and asking them to reveal a bit more about their crafty addictions.
"I live in Bolton,Lancashire , I am married to lee and we have 7 children, 6 girls and 1 boy and 1 grandson.
I have always been crafting in one form or another all my life, my Nanna taught me from the age of 4 I started off knitting then went on to crochet, when I was 8 Nanna taught me to use the sewing machine and through most of my teenage years I made my own clothes or altered shop bought ones. I still like to make home furnishing and clothes for the children.
I have also dabbled in jewellery making, lace making, pottery and polymer clay. When I was pregnant with my 1st child, I started to cross stitch and this was my major passion for quite a few years. When I got married 8 years ago, I decided to make my own
invitations as all then invites I liked were too expensive and this is when I first discovered stamping and heat embossing which very quickly led to me making my own cards for friends and family.
I started blogging 3 years ago, as a way to show others what I was making
and found infinite inspiration from all the varied blogs I found. I would say my style is very cute and fell in love with magnolia stamps
very quickly I love anything with a cute aspect and have a very soft spot for teddy
bears and animals.
I love all the friends I have made through my crafting and that there are
always new techniques to try. Stampalot was my very first design team position and I love working with
the other ladies!.
Thanks for sharing that with us Francesca.
