Mid month inspiration

Good morning all you lovely Peeps, our 'Wings, Fantasy and Fiction' theme has attracted some beautiful entries but if you have not yet joined in or would like to do so again it will be running until 26th February so there is still time to join in for a chance to win the £35 voucher from this months sponsor Crafty Devils

Now it's time for some inspiration and this month Maddy is sharing her favourite pieces of artwork from her previous twelve months creations.................

Maddy here and it is my turn to share two of my own favourite projects from the past year. One of my favourite items this year has been the gilding waxes. I love rubbing them into dry-embossed surfaces to create backgrounds, and this bird card is one of the pieces I produced using this method:

"Feather Your Nest"

The other card I'd like to share with you is a book card (my favourite type to make!). This is the first I made using button flowers, and the original post included a tutorial detailing how to make the flowers if you fancy giving it a go.

"The Button Garden Book Card"

Thank you so much for sharing your inspirational work with us all Maddy, both pieces are a delight.
