Orange florals

Good morning, it's time for our mid month inspiration where the Design Team have been sharing work using the colour they least enjoy working with and this month it's Eret's turn.

Our current theme of  'Anything goes with a stamp and a die' is in full swing and if you have not joined in yet there is still plenty of time so you are in with a chance of winning the fabulous prize from this months sponsor Tonic Studios.

Now I will had you over to Eret............................

"It's my turn for the mid month post where all the DT have to make something in a colour that they don't like. I can't say that orange is my least favourite colour but somehow, it's difficult to make an orange card. It is actually a very pretty colour, but on my cards, it doesn't feel right. On this particular card, I love the orange flowers but I would change the background paper to something else. It has too much orange on it. I just have to keep trying until I feel comfortable with this colour".

Thank you so much Eret and looking at your lovely card one would never guess you struggle using Orange.

  2. Beautiful card Eret! Orange isn't my favourite colour but it's bright and sunny so I do use it on occasion. Maybe you should start with only an "accent" of orange against a mainly blue background and see how you like that colour combo.

  8. It's a lovely card. Orange and green is a popular combination or you could tone it down a bit with lemon if it seems to glaring.
