It had to be a Butterfly for Lynne

Good morning, time for our mid month inspiration post and this time round Lynne is sharing a card made with her 'go to stamp' and also explaining why, so I will pass you over to her.

"My heart sank a little when I saw the current DT mid-month task! For me, trying to pick a go-to stamp is like attempting to choose a favourite piece of music - there are so many I like and all so different. How do I narrow it down to one above all? Well, if I have to decide, I guess it must come down to trees or butterflies. And as this month's challenge theme is Animal Magic, I've gone with a butterfly. It's by Hero Arts and I have it in three versions: the original rubber, clear (in a set), and a rubber cling which is part of a Sizzix Framelits set. Oh, and a digi version! Sadly I think they are all now discontinued, but some occasionally pop up on eB*y.

The original one is one of my oldest stamps, but I still use it a lot, often as an embellishment to something else. This time, however, I decided to let it take centre stage, which, since it is so pretty, it certainly deserves to do. And it's wonderful to colour."

Thanks so much Lynne.

February - Animal Magic

Welcome to our February challenge and this month our theme is...............

********Animal Magic********

Now that doesn't mean there has to be a magic element although you might want to put that spin on your entries, but we do want to see lots of animals this month be it dogs and cats, a touch of the wild, cute critters or butterflies and birds, the choice is yours.

Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image, sentiment or quote as the focal element of your artwork. You can enter up to three creations but please note: if we do not comment on your entry it will be because it does not follow the theme, qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment. We do not want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who do follow the rules.

Our prize this month is a super collection of dies and embossing folders from Tattered Lace.

Tattered Lace is home to a range of beautifully delicate and detailed craft products, including the successful Tattered Lace Dies and Embossing Folders, designed by Stephanie Weightman.

The design team really have pulled out all the stops and have a super variation of animal magic pieces of artwork to inspire you.

We hope you have fun with this months challenge and look forward to seeing all your entries.

Before linking your entry are you sure it meets our theme and challenge rules ?
