Pinky's been hard at work with a dictionary !

Good morning Peeps, time to challenge another of the Design Team to try out something new and this month Pinky has been having fun with pencils and a dictionary, I will pass you over to her to tell us what she has been up to.

It's my turn for a bit of mid month inspiration and I took the chance to try something I have been wanting to have a go at for ages. I have been admiring lovely makes on Pinterest of people stamping on book pages so I took one of my kids (now all grown up) school dictionaries and decided to have a go.

I used memento rich cocoa to stamp the image and coloured it with spectrum noir pencils.
All blended with stumps and sansodor.

The stamp I used is from Woodward. I intend to make my way through all my stamps and end up with a book I can flick through when I need some inspiration.

My first finished page!

Not very exciting but I'm happy to have started. The paper in this dictionary is fairly thick so the pencil does not show through. Happy Stamping!

Thanks for sharing that Pinky, look forward to seeing more of your creations using this technique.

September - Photo inspiration

Note added: due to spammers who apparently have nothing better to do we have had to move to comment moderation, sorry Peeps, but we will keep an eye out for your lovely words of encouragement to the team. B x

Good morning, I hope you are all ready for a new challenge and this month we have some photo inspiration for you with some pretty colours that can range from bright to pastel, it's very much down to you wish ones you choose to work with, or you may want to go floral inspired by the lovely Iris.

Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image, sentiment or quote as the focal element of your artwork. You can enter up to three creations but please note: If we do not comment on your entry it will be because it does not follow the theme, qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment on third party hosts particularly Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Splitcoast. We do not want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who do follow the rules.

We have a lovely prize of a collection of Hero Arts stamps.......................

And a second prize of a bundle of ribbons and gems.........................

Clearly the Design Team really enjoyed themselves playing with the colour palette and have some super creations to share with you, thank you girls.......................
